After your initial intro into this season’s fall style, let’s delve further into exploring more specific outfit choices, namely, your casual clothing. This week, I’m hoping to capture a couple awesome styles that will push you through into the winter season, looking dapper and feeling great! So grab your Pumpkin Spice Latte, and get ready to become extremely basic.
I briefly touched on this last time, but just to reiterate, your common burgundy, brown, green, and amber colours will best suit this season.
Main Go-to Pieces:
IT’S BOOT SEASON.
- Step 1: Get cool boots.
- Step 2: There is no step 2. I absolutely love the idea of different shades in boots, such as olive green, or burgundy, or even black. These really bring out an outfit and displays that hipster/urban style which will be trending during the fall season.
PULL OUT THE COMFY SWEATERS. This can work in two styles.
- You have your fitted sweaters, that go well with jeans and a nice coat for that classy fall look. Typically for that night out, or that romantic date in the park.
- Alternatively, you can rock the long, over-sized sweater with jeans or chinos for the laid back, casual “IDGAF” look. It’s comfy, trendy, and incredibly versatile if you are willing to create multiple combos.
JEANS DON’T HAVE TO BE BLUE AND BLACK.
- Yes. That pretty much says it all. Explore the different styles out there. Rock some burgundy or green jeans. Make that outfit pop and heads will turn in your direction.
Honestly, fall and winter are my favourite seasons. This is the time where layers can create a unique style that always looks quite dapper in the casual sense. Introduce different, darker colours to your wardrobe and utilize them! Be Extra!
