If the Stampede wasn’t enough for you, it’s time to put your cowboy hats back on because Country Thunder’s Music Festival is here once again.
This Friday, August 18th until Sunday the 20th, the Country Thunder Music Festival will bring in 10 different country musicians to Calgary at the Prairie Winds Park (223 Castleridge Blvd NE Calgary, AB T3J 3J8).
This year’s line-up consists of performances by Brad Paisley, Thomas Rhette, Blake Shelton, High Valley, Terri Clark, Old Dominion, James Barker Band, Joe Nichols, Chase Bryant, Randy Houser, Dallas Smith, The Road Hammers, The Washboard Union, and The Dungarees.
Tickets are still available for both general admission which grants access to the full event, and the Platinum Experience, which features access to a private, front-of-stage viewing area, private food and beverages, and exclusive restrooms.
A special offer of 6 tickets for the price of 5 is also available for the three days, so bring your friends and enjoy the music.
Since this will be a city event, there will be no overnight camping. However, there will be shuttle buses for hotel guests staying with the festival partners. Feel free to check the list of partners here.
Last August, Country Thunder AB was launched for the first time in Calgary and included performances by big name country artists such as Luke Bryan, Tim McGraw, and Big & Rich.
Country Thunder has ran as the premier Country Music Festival in Southeast Wisconsin and Arizona for 23 years, and it’s performer’s have included Country artists such as Miranda Lambert, Luke Bryan, Blake Shelton and Taylor Swift.
